Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for added sweetness)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

1. Place all the ingredients in a blender in the order listed: sliced bananas, peanut butter, milk, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and ice cubes.

    2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more milk to reach your desired consistency.

      3. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup.

        4. Once smooth, pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.

          5. Garnish with a drizzle of peanut butter or banana slices if desired.

            6. Enjoy your refreshing peanut butter banana smoothie!

              Notes

              • For a thicker smoothie, use frozen bananas instead of fresh ones.
              • Feel free to customize the smoothie by adding a handful of spinach or kale for extra nutrients, or a scoop of protein powder for an added protein boost.
              • If you have a nut allergy, you can substitute almond butter or sunflower seed butter for the peanut butter.
